Growing up in Fort Smith and Van Buren, Arkansas, Tara graduated third in her class from Van Buren High School and earned a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Arkansas State University. Tara started out working in mortgage lending for Wells Fargo. By 2004, Tara had grown tired of the lending business and decided to give real estate a try. Tara was already familiar
with real estate through her mom, who is an agent in Fort Smith, and her lending industry background was an added plus. One day she saw an advertisement for a model home sales agent in a new subdivision. She applied for and got the job, which was
a stepping stone for great things to come. During her first few years, Tara learned a lot about real estate, including new construction. In 2006, Tara could sense the market was changing, so she decided it was time to branch out. Her experience, in
dustry contacts, past clients, and relationships with builders helped her grow her business. A few years later, Tara noticed new construction had come to a halt, so she shifted her focus to working with local banks and relocation clients. By 2010, Tara’s
business was growing so fast that she couldn’t handle the workload, so she expanded her business with her first team member, husband Nick. She learned quickly that anyone who doesn’t have an assistant quickly becomes the assistant, so she decided to hir
e another person for the team to handle all the administrative tasks. That enabled her to concentrate full-time on what she really loves… selling real estate. Now the team holds 5 brokers, 30 full-time agents, a property manager and closing branch, an
d 18 support team members.
In 2022, the Limbird Team hit a record breaking $1 Billion Dollars in sales and has sold more than 4,000 properties in Northwest Arkansas. That success has led to a number of awards: #1 Team in NWA by the NWA Busines
s Journal: 2014-2022, Top 500 Real Estate Marketers in the US; Lifetime Achievement awards at previous brokerage; and top 1% of Realtors in the country ranked by the Wall Street Journal. Tara was also named Woman-Owned Small Business Woman of the Year in 2
015 by the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Top 40 Under 40 by the NWA Business Journal.
Outside of real estate, Tara enjoys going with Nick to their cabin or boating on Beaver Lake. Their biggest joy, however, is spending time with
their 12-year-old daughter, Ellie. Staying involved with the community is also important to Tara. She is a long-time supporter of Children's Miracle Network, Susan G. Komen, CASA, and Loving Choices, as well as a sponsor of the Washington Junior High Sc
